Position overview

As a Field Application Engineer at Lauterbach Inc., you will play a key role in supporting our customer base in the Western region of the United States. Your responsibilities will include:

  •     Technical contact person for our customers
  •     Supporting our customers during the commissioning of our products
  •     Interface between customers and our development department
  •     Technical support for our sales department and technical marketing
  •     Conducting technical training courses and customer seminars and preparing the necessary documentation
Your profile

To be considered for this role, you should bring:

  • A successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, or technical computer science, or a comparable technical qualification is required
  • Development experience in embedded software, preferably in C/C++.
  • Microcontroller expertise (ARM, TriCore, PowerPC, etc.).
  • Knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python, Ruby)
  • Experience with debug systems is an advantage
  • Good and confident communication in English
  • Willingness to travel within the western United States and occasionally to Germany
  • Knowledge of Lauterbach products is a plus
